Great food and service! * It's a bit tricky getting into the parking lot though... At the light you turn into what looks like an old gas station/ auto repair shop and curve around to get to the Waffle house.

We recently enjoyed breakfast at Waffle House, conveniently located at 2846 Charleston Hwy, West Columbia, SC 29172. It's safe to say that this particular Waffle House stands out as the best in the Columbia area, and here's why. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Notably, the restaurant is consistently clean, which is always a plus. Even more impressive is the friendly waitstaff, who seem to have an uncanny knack for remembering our order, even when we visit with months in between. Our go-to choice at Waffle House is the All-Star Specials, a hearty meal consisting of 2 scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and grits. We like to add a little extra flavor by including cheese in our eggs and grits. The portions are generous, and we share a single waffle since it's already a substantial meal. I've explored various breakfast spots in Columbia, but Waffle House consistently delivers when seeking excellent service, cleanliness, affordability, and always delicious food. It has become our top choice for a satisfying breakfast experience.

This place was really nice and extremely busy. Our waitress was fantastic on helping us at our table. We had 4 adults and 2 little ones and we worked her butt off to make sure we had anything we needed. That is her in the photo. She did a fantastic job. The food was really good. The restaurant was very clean even with how busy they were. We will definitely stop by again when in the area.

Stopped here for some dinner while driving through West Columbia on our way to Utah. There is semi parking on the side lot of the building. We had a wonderful server I believe his name was Harllin, I could be wrong but that you so much, you were so nice and kind to us! We ordered the pork chops, double bacon burger, chocolate chip waffle, and cheese steak hash browns. Everything was so good and the food came out fast! If you want a place with some good cheap food, nice company and conversation then come here!! Definitely will be back if we are ever in the area.

Value for the money is good. Food is road food and filling. I can stop and have sit down table service for less than a mCd drive thru.

Another great Waffle House! Great service. The food great, fresh and hot! Atmosphere... the Waffle House standard setup, except, they put two tables on the opposite side of the room from the kitchen. Interesting, but the ladies seemed to make it work! The highway department put up a barrier between the Hwy-312 and the "frontage road" so a bit of a zig-zag to get in. But a fine place.

A great place to go for breakfast when you have hungry teens. They thought they had the best waffles ever. Food was very good and prices are reasonable. Service was friendly, but my coffee cup went dry a couple times. I think what we enjoyed most was that this was the first meal we had out in over 3 months because of covid-19 restrictions.

Had to get a quick, keto friendly dinner between my two jobs. I always know what to expect. The food preparation and quality is consistent. The staff was extremely friendly and kept me coffee'd up. I return over and over.
